I think I get the title, you want to state that in our society, there's a farmaceutical product for every itch, every tiny thing that makes us uncomfortable, right? Your formulation of the title "perfection in health" makes me think about DNA and modifications to make the perfect healthy human though..but maybe that's just me

The reason I used the blood (yes.. Its my blood) Is because it would help the viewer come to better understand the concept I was aiming to illustrate. I meant to display the understanding that there are soo many medicines out today, for every tiny thing.. Ive seen person after person downing pills making toasts to better health.. Has anyone ever thought that too much might lead to your downfall?

Thank you for your description Kyle, I got close with mine..But now I understand the blood better....I think many people indeed don't realise that most medication is just poison and the cure of whatever you have is just a side-effect of the pills you take....such a tragic story about your friend

Nice idea. On the right side some over-sharpening can be seen.
Other than that it's really nice.

nice piece.... some of the grain could be easily wiped out with a light gaussian blur on the grainy parts.

nice picture and i understand your emotion on this one, i like the setup of the pills however the blood could have been done a tad bit more effectively and tastefully to add to teh shot, not to try to make it, the subtle additions are what make them great, keep up the good work bud

My favorite is the one at the top....great colors and details.
I am an MD.....and doctors take very....very few medications....we know all the side effects....and we also know that Pharmaceuptical companies have lost their credibility.....they put out new drugs in the market even when they know the potential side effects.....and they take them out of the market after they have made millions of dollars........
And you will be surprised to know that many medication that are banned in the first world....are still for sale in our poor countries....that does not speak very well of our health officials.....and shows the greed of the companies.
Take as few medicines as you can!.....the best prescription to stay healthy is to excercise.....jogging is my favorite....(and eat properly)

Very powerful. I fully understand the use of blood here. Great concept and execution.

Concept out of the picture, the overall setup keeps your eye moving around, especially in the first one. The color is so dull, the blood just shouts.

The second one has too much in the blur I feel. changing the DOF would bring a smile to my face, but that's not what you're striving for.

Concept in the picture, the blood and pill mix is a blatent sign of tragic or problematic medical scene. How often do the two mix?

The concept is very unoriginal and it's been done many times...expecially with my experience in a big advertising agency. The font used caption is a poor font choice and also the red doesn't have true blood texture to it....looks more like corn sryup. Other then that the photography is crystal clear but the concept isn't the greatest. +7 still great picture good job.
